For guests with limited mobility, The Waterside Rollesby has its very own brand new wheelchair accessible ‘Wheelyboat’ called ‘Stuart’s Dream’. The boat is 17ft long and has a carrying capacity of eight people including wheelchairs (maximum load 1,000 kilos).

We accept wheelchairs of all shapes and sizes and will do our very best to accommodate our customers, providing access for all is very important to us!

We safely recommend no more than 4 wheelchairs on the boat at any one time as this comfortably allows space for up to 4 carers/companions for whom seats will be provided. The boat has roll-on, roll-off access and a flat deck with an accessible drive-from-wheelchair console allowing people in wheelchairs to drive the boat themselves.

If you would prefer one of our boat skippers to drive the boat then we can easily arrange this for you.

Prices start from just £8.75 to hire the boat for your enjoyment (1 hour rental) and we will be flexible in meeting your needs and requirements. Pre-booking is essential.

Regrettably we are unable to accept dogs on any of our boats due to licensing and insurance restrictions. All children under the age of 12 must wear the lifejacket provided.
