Our café/tearoom serves a range of tasty brunch dishes (10 am-12 noon), a tempting choice of homemade cakes, scones and pastries as well as locally made ice cream. We also have a mouth-watering menu of light lunches (12 noon – 3 pm) and serve scrumptious traditional afternoon teas (2.30 pm – 4 pm). Wherever possible, our produce is sourced locally and we use only the freshest, seasonal ingredients (please click here to browse our Menus page).
We believe one of our greatest assets is our magnificent setting right on the Broad where you can enjoy the stunning views whatever the season with summertime alfresco dining from our sunny outdoor terrace or when the weather is a bit chillier take a table inside in our bright and airy contemporary dining area looking out to the Broad. Do keep a look out for the resident family of herons and the wonderful range of iconic Norfolk wildlife that we share this beautiful area with!
Our fabulous brunches, lunch and afternoon tea are complemented by a range of fun things to see and do for the whole family with children’s pirate themed play area and putting green, wildlife hide and seasonal boating/fishing available (not available during the winter months) . Our sister business The Boathouse , Ormesby Broad is now open for country and gastro lunches and evening dining. The pub is open 11am – 11pm daily (midnight on Saturdays) with food being served from 12 noon – 3pm and 6pm – 9pm daily. On Sundays there is a carvery only from 12 noon – 6pm.
